SUPPORT

MegaTronics International Corp. (MTI) provides a Customer Service website for MegaTrak® System users, owners and installers. Included on the site are numerous documents, technical papers, drawings, user’s guides, software tools, software updates, installation and operation manuals.

There is also a troubleshooting section, a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section, and a "Wiki" (glossary/dictionary) section.

This site also has a section for communication with the MTI engineering department and an area where uploads to MTI can be performed, if needed.

All MegaTrak® customers, service technicians, electrical companies, pump company, installers can access the website using a web browser with internet access after receiving log in information from MTI.

MCU-9000 Firmware Version Information

NOTE: You do not always have to upgrade to the latest version! If your MCU9000 is working fine and being reliable, leave it alone! Upgrade the MCU only if there are special new features that you need, or bug fixes that apply to you!

In Standby mode, pressing F5 will now displays the current network settings for the MCU if in Networked communications mode. This is useful if MCU is using DHCP to find out what IP, mask and gateway were assigned via DHCP.

Pressing F8 will initiate a PING to the server, which will respond with a POLL/CLOCK SET message and reset the time and date in the MCU.

The F8 PING function is now more reliable (persistent) and the SBUS communications have been made more reliable and stable.

Ver 3.136        3/26/10           PING Fix, MCU keeps settings on reload
A minor PING issue fixed. New feature: If the Fast Load box is checked on the Loader program, loading new firmware into the MCU-9000 will not return the settings to factory defaults, but will keep the original settings.

F1 and F2 jump-ahead features have been added in SETUP, as well as an option to "Do More Pumps" to save time. Also KeepAlive time setting has been added.

Added many checks on data range and validity which will cause **INTERNAL ERROR**, TRY AGAIN message if triggered. This is to prevent mis-keyed erroneous data fields from getting to MegaTrak Pro where they cause bad transaction data.

This version has changes in settings key write & read reliability, various functions, EB Mode, Magnetic Card (serial) support, and changes to work with the hardware fixes (jumper on CPM, resistor on CPM) that improve performance of SBUS communications. Custom greetings added. Dynamic language support improved.

Ver 3.173        7/21/10                       Improved performance on multi-hop networks
When using radio, network and hard-wired media in a "multi-hop" arrangement, added signal delays caused some "F8" Server Pings to fail. Timings were extended in radio and hard-wired modes to compensate. Also bug fix for Vehicle keys that are programmed not to ask for Driver ID. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

IF YOUR PREVIOUS FIRMWARE VESION IS OLDER THAN 3.159, TO USE NEWER FIRMWARE VERSIONS YOU MUST HAVE THE HARDWARE MODIFICATIONS DONE ON THE MCU, AND THE LATEST TRANSACTION SERVICE MUST BE RUNNING ON THE SERVER. THIS WILL REQUIRE THAT THE MCU-9000 BE RETURNED BRIEFLY TO THE FACTORY SO THAT THE MODIFICATIONS CAN BE MADE. MODIFICATIONS WILL BE MADE AND THE FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE WILL BE UPDATED FREE OF CHARGE. THE LATEST TRANSACTION SERVICE FILE IS AVAILABLE ON THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT SITE OR BY CONTACTING MTI.

Ver 3.176        8/20/10                       Added "Stop At" feature
A setup option allows "Stop At Amount" to be request. User will be asked what amount (in whole units) should be used as the limit to stop fuel or lube. The lesser of the Stop At amount and the amount approved by the server will be used to stop fluid flow.

Ver 3.189        12/30/10                     Several fixes and added "RoadUse" feature
Setup option allows key pad entered vehicle IDs to be  accompanies by a "Road use?" response that affects the Road Use flag in the transactions for reporting.

Ver 3.191         1/29/11                       Support for Multimode on cards/keys/iButtons

Setup for equipment credential after driver card now allows “M” for Multi, which allows a Driver Card followed by a Datakey OR an iButton.
