MegaTrak In The News Throw away the old fashioned measuring stick and the inaccurate amounts recorded on fuel drop tickets; SA's MegaTrak can now interface with all underground tank monitoring systems. Megatronics Corporation effected a coup this week with its revolutionary MegaTrak fuel tracking system, and is now saving a Dallas company $6,000 per week. MegaTrak's automated tank monitoring system (ATG) is now in use at a Texas based materials company. The $6,000 savings was racked up in just one week by accurately recording the dumping of fuel into its above ground storage tanks. "If the system had not been in place money would have been spent for fuel that was not actually received", stated a Megatronics executive. The Dallas company chose the MegaTrak tank monitoring system (ATG) for its performance and cost-effectiveness. Aggregate officials said " we will see a quick return on investment because of the accuracy of the probe and its interface to the MegaTrak automated fuel management and accounting system." The MegaTrak system will also save money on the ordering, pick up and delivery of their fuel needs at all of their many sites throughout Texas and Oklahoma. MegaTrak accounts for every transaction per hose with its pay-at-the-pump architecture and "is perfect for the expanding alternative fuel market," according to Kay Turner, CEO. More cost-effective than any other fuel monitoring system in the marketplace, the "smart-chip-in-a-key" adds additional protection to both the fueling site owner and the fueler. Drivers of alternative fuel vehicles are required to be specially trained in the fueling of any alternative fuel. After completion of the training the driver of the "alt" fuel vehicle signs a document that he has been trained and that he will allow no other person to fuel his vehicle. Merchants, government and private fleets are being mandated to use alternative fuels in an effort to protect the environment and protect the quality of our air. MegaTrak interfaces with all third-party software and provides a precise billing system and personalized message to trigger maintenance. Total accountability to assure an "alt" fuel was actually purchased and that earned credits can be proven. * * * Southwest
Airlines Opts For Southwest Airlines will receive its first fuel trucks equipped with the San Antonio produced MegaTrak automated truck mounted fueling system this week, it was announced Sunday. Kay Turner, CEO of Megatronics International Corporation which manufactures the computerized system, said that the Megatrak system was chosen by Southwest to address operational concerns over the monitoring of fuel at the pump, lube reel usage, mobile truck fueling and the managing of bulk storage. "Its versatility, as a truck mounted system, makes it the most reliable system for truck mounted dispensing," Turner told reporters at the Megatronics' corporate headquarters Sunday. "We are pleased that Southwest Airlines, the most successful major air carrier in the US today, chose our system to service their equipment," the San Antonio business woman declared. "We feel the MegaTrak Fuel System is the most cost effective and efficient fuel system on the market. Its modular design and pay-at-the-pump architecture, along with smart-chip-key technology and easy to use sort and filter software, make it ideal for large and small corporations." A specially programmed "smart-chip-in-a-key" is assigned to each piece of equipment to be fueled. Besides providing unique accountability for each fueling unit, MegaTrak's patented technology boasts the added benefit of 100% prevention of the wrong fuel type being dispensed to the wrong equipment, according to Turner. The trucks, which incorporate the MegaTrak system, are assembled by Garsite L.L.P. in Kansas City, Kansas. The first two Southwest Airlines' locations scheduled for delivery this week of the specialized trucks are Houston and El Paso Antonio. MegaTrak has been a popular choice of many organizations needing truck mounted systems, including governmental entities, construction companies, and mining firms. * * * Truck Mounts Fleet Services Multi Product Unit (MPD) Bulk Transfers & Alternative Fuels Additional Services Press Releases Trade Show Schedule * * * |
